As a little girl, I was in love with all things fantasy, adventure, and Happily Ever After. So, of course, I fell head over heels with the sweetly embellished desserts, the pretty pastels, and all the beautiful details from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. The quirky Mad Hatter tea party is still my inspirational heaven on earth.

When I'm not straightening crooked frames, organizing the world around me, and perfectly planning every hour, I am making my clients' wishes come true. THAT is what pulls at my heartstrings and makes me giddy with excitement. Because what I love most, is igniting my imagination, designing a concept, and pulling all the pieces together for one unforgettable event like a maestro conducting his symphony.

For eight years, I've planned corporate and social events, large and small, in Barranquilla, Colombia. From the first moment I planned my very first wedding in 2007, I was hooked. Seeing the beautiful fruits of my labor come alive for a few magical hours was a whirlwind adventure! I found myself falling in love with every intricate detail, every sweet morsel, and every beautiful note that seamlessly tied the whole event together. But it was the ear to ear smiles on guests' faces that sealed the deal. From that moment on, there was no turning back. I became an event designer and planner.

I moved to New York City in 2013 to live with my now husband, who I fell in love with over brunch and our wanderlusting passion for travel. We got married on April 10th, 2015 in Miami, where we first met. I planned every detail of our romantic vintage wedding from the comfort of my favorite local Brooklyn cafes. Although everything was finalized, I knew I needed help on my wedding day so that I can take it easy and enjoy the little things.

Even a wedding planner needs a day-of coordinator to take the stress out of the day so I hired someone I really liked and learned a valuable lesson. Type A personalities, like me, should not hire Type B personalities. I'm happily married to a Type B one-of-a-kind guy, so clearly there's truth in the old saying "opposites attract", but I would never let him run the event. So I gained one unforgettable life lesson that I carry into every vendor and client matching; look for a glimmer of yourself in your wedding vendors and see if they share the same values for a one-of-a-kind magical event!
